Jorge L. Villacorta

I like reading, watching movies, and understanding. If you want to see pictures of a few things I have been doing the last decade you can visit: http://imdb.me/JorgeVillacorta. In 2010, I participated as an actor, assistant director, coeditor, and a member of the direct sound crew in the movie "The Blessed Virgin Mary and the Impoverished Children" (original title in Spanish "María y los niños pobres") that was shot in La Paz and El Alto (Bolivia), edited in Lima (Peru), and exhibited in Puno and Juli (Puno, Peru) and La Paz (Bolivia). I helped to promote and exhibit the movie. In 2017, it was projected at the Cineforum of the National Library of Peru as part of a retrospective devoted to his director, Leonidas Zegarra. If you want to watch pictures (around 1,500) taken during the shooting of "María y los niños pobres" you can go to: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4339972/ The movie is in Spanish and English subtitles are not available yet.
