This course will introduce the beginner to Chinese medical concepts using the Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic ( 黃帝內經[Huángdì nèijīng]).
The instructor will guide students through the the process of understanding concepts used in Eastern Medical Bodywork, Chinese herbalism and Acupuncture found in this root foundational text of Chinese medicine. A very elementary introduction to Classical Chinese characters and thier pronouncation (using Pīnyīn) will be taught and used throughout the course to aid in the recitation of relevant passages in the text.
