Saltwater Fishing for Beginners

Learn how to find and catch inshore fish commonly found in the gulf coast waters of Florida (& other Southern states).

Equipment: Fishing rods and reels, artificial lures, live bait, cut-bait
Terminal tackle: Hooks, weights, types of fishing line and leaders

Tips on finding and catching inshore fish:

Sea Trout, Redfish, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Sheepshead, Snapper, Whiting, Pompano, Sharks, etc.

This is a 2-hour class offered on different days and times to accommodate people's schedules. After you sign up for the class I will email you a link to join the class on Zoom. Click on the Zoom link at the proper time to join the class.

Teacher's Bio: I have been fishing the gulf water of florida for 40 years. I have fished from boats, kayaks, and piers. I also have experience surf fishing and wade fishing. I have taught Saltwater Fishing for Beginners for several years at a local college and cultural center. I'm currently writing a book about fishing. I have been a kayak fishing guide in Southwest Florida for over 5 years.
