Want to learn how to draw? This course will take you from stick figures to accurate portraits, and everywhere in between.
We will learn about value, shading, proportions, gesture, composition, and find your own unique drawing style! You can take the entire course using just a pencil and paper, and there will be opportunity to choose and customize your subjects. Beginners welcome!
Teacher's Bio:
Audrey Gair is painter currently living in Queens, NY, originally from Miami, FL. Gair received her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Previous two-person and group exhibitions include those at King’s Leap (New York City, NY) Rope (Baltimore, MD), Open Space (Baltimore, MD), Sinkhole Project, Collisions Craft (Baltimore, MD), European Gallery (Boston MA) and Evening Hours (New York, NY). In 2018 Gair co-curated and participated in an exhibition entitled Percolate (Anything You Want to Call It), staged at Mango’s Tropical Cafe, a Latin Club in South Beach, FL, with the support from Bas Fisher Invitational. Gair's teaching style is warm and open, she works to bring out the talent in each of her students.
