Balance & Breath
My yoga style is Vinyasa, which teaches one to link the movement with the breath to attain an internal balance. While we will utilize Vinyasa to align a sequence of poses, we'll also bring into the mix an awareness to spirit, posture and fluid movement based in Iyengar yoga and somatic movement therapies.
I encourage you to set an intention to bring about change, achieve balance, completeness and empowerment.
I call my practice Kinepathics Yoga.
Teacher's Bio:
Anita DeFrancesco, M.A. ,E-RYT 500, RYS Psychotherapist, Two-Time Award Winning Journalist; has an extensive education in health and fitness studies. Her background includes somatics, Reichian and bioenergetics therapy, movement therapy, dance movement, Pilates, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Iyengar, along with a variety of other yoga and somatic influences. She studied in Los Angeles for 20 years, resides in Philadelphia. In addition she is a relationship coach and two time author: "Live Free, Recreate and Liberate Your Life" and a true crime book "The Donna Gentile Story".
Style of Offering:
Vinyasa, Restorative, Dance Movement Somatics via Zoom or in person.
